Customer Care - Basic and Enhanced DSL Internet Access

Both Basic DSL Internet Access and Enhanced DSL Internet Access are supported by Pacific Bell Internet Services' award-winning TechCenter. Hours of live support for DSL Internet questions are 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. Online support is available by e-mailing questions to support@pacbell.net. Service Reliability

We purposely overbuilt our network, so your traffic always gets through with no speed bumps to slow it down. We track and trend all routers and GSP circuits via network management tools and add additional capacity well before it's needed. Although this may not be the cheapest way for us to do business, it ensures you get what you've paid for by avoiding the latency issues inherent in overdriving a network.

We're committed to providing network availability even under circumstances beyond our control:

  • We've equipped our NetCenter with battery backup and generators to supply power to all systems in the event of a power failure.
  • Our California POPs are housed in Pacific Bell Central Offices where there are security personnel 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week.
  • Central Offices have been built to withstand a high-magnitude earthquake. Each building is fully braced and in compliance with existing seismic standards.
  • All equipment located in Central Offices meets the NEBS 3 compliance for electrical product safety.
  • We also have a data center and NetCenter in Richardson, Texas that provides full redundancy and is capable of seamlessly maintaining our customers' services, should the need arise.
